Regenerative Agriculture - farming's solution to climate change
With the current COVID restrictions, we're doing something a little different for the upcoming HabiTable session! Instead of an evening of in-person discussions, we're inviting a fellow young Singaporean farmer, Jun Ning of A Little Wild, to have a one-on-one conversation on the topic of Regenerative Agriculture.
Regenerative Agriculture is a promising tool for the future of farming. With its goals of regenerating topsoil, increasing biodiversity, and improving mineral, carbon and water cycles, agriculture can potentially be healing for the the environment, instead of its contemporary contribution of damage to the environment.

Marcus Koe is the founder of Habitat Collective, a campaign for humanity to live sustainably in our environment through permaculture and small-scale, circular food systems. He believes that agriculture, when done right, can function as environmental action and social justice.
Jun Ning started A Little Wild, a project in Johor transitioning a palm oil estate to a biodiverse fruit forest. She wants to change mindsets - for owners to be responsible stewards of their land, and for consumers to demand a connection with their food source.
